Our Story and Values
Back in 2019, a group of caring individuals came together in Lebanon, united by a simple goal: to support their fellow citizens during the tough times of the bank crisis. It didn’t matter what their backgrounds were; they just wanted to lend a helping hand.
When the devastating Beirut explosion hit, they didn’t hesitate. They rolled up their sleeves, got to work cleaning up the mess, and helped those affected start rebuilding their lives. They listened to the heartbreaking stories of trauma and teamed up with psychologists and doctors to provide comfort and care.
As the economic situation worsened, many kids were struggling to register for school. So, they launched a program to help these children by covering tuition fees, providing laptops, and making sure they had the uniforms they needed. This initiative has flourished, but now, with the crisis deepening and Lebanon feeling more like a war zone, they realized they couldn’t carry this weight alone.
The community needs more than just food and shelter; they need mental and educational support. That’s where Hayati comes in. We’re stepping up to make a real difference.
Our plan focuses on three main areas: improving children’s education, offering training for women, and supporting the mental and physical health of both women and kids. Together, we can build resilience and bring hope to our community during these challenging times.

Our Values
At Hayati, our mission is to empower and uplift vulnerable and margenalized communities in Lebanon by providing essential support in education, mental health, and skills training. We are dedicated to ensuring that every child has access to quality education and resources. Our focus extends to teaching individuals how to thrive in a civil society, by teaching women a profession, fostering values such as indipendancy, respect, cooperation, and active citizenship. We also prioritize the well-being of women and children, offering programs that promote mental and physical health, and fostering resilience in the face of adversity. Through collaboration and compassion, we aim to create lasting change and a brighter future for all, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth and hope.
